Interesting that the present iteration seems to have the motorized faders moving just as an indication of where they are on a preset. When you change to a preset they don't actually sweep the pot from position to position. The pot just moves to the place where its supposed to be but the fader's value is stored in the processor so it just goes directly to the sound. I wonder if they'll have a mode on the final product where the automation happens in real time or if that will just be managed via other controls while on a preset?

For anyone thinking about pulling the trigger, the Arturia rep said 'March to May' is the targeted release for the MicroFreak. I guess that's good news if you're wanting to postpone your spending, but bad news if you were eager to start learning the ins & outs.
