o hai!

Saw this earlier today, but didn't want to respond on my phone.
We'll have a video up next week and another the week after.

There are three basic modes set by the tracking switch. low tracking, null and high tracking. Null doesn't track at all.
The Entropy switch basically makes it easy to use live (order) or allows more tweaking (chaos)

The reference to the Vitruvian man (and vitruvius) is about ratios. If you know the story Vitruvius thought you could find inspiration in design from perfect ratios found in nature. The Vitruvian Mod's tracking modes are set to frequencies of "perfect" harmony, where both the sum and difference frequencies of the ring modulation harmonize with the input. the harmonization is mathematically correct rather than chromatically. It's based off just intonation instead, where all notes are based off overtones/harmonics. The end result is something that sounds similar to FM synthesis although it's accomplished in a very different way. There actually were ring modulation synthesizers built in the 40's and 50's. I can't even imagine what a pain in the ass they would be to use.

So it's a ring mod that's also kind of a synth pedal. Tracking is monophonic. It sounds fantastic followed by dirt.

Can't wait to hear more.

So, does this mean we'll also be getting a Palladian pedal soon?

Here's a rough clip. The compression is all screwed up for some reason. I'll figure that out later.
All sounds made by guitar, with the exception of drums and the voice clips. Supernova drive was used for dirt.

I want to look up this Vitruvius story because of this pedal.

The two demos sound awesome, totally.

I really wish I had heard clips of that ring mod before they all disappeared from here - or are they just not showing up on my phone?

Either way, excited to hear this!
