Do you guys know how to imbed vid from an iPhone. I'm copying the link in the YouTube tabs in the message box and I tried the URL box and no dice.

I've currently drawn up a vero. Mind you, it's not verified yet, but anyone that has some DIY gumption, can build him/herself one. I figure there's probably about $50 worth of parts there. Sneak peek of the UNVERIFIED vero;

Updated schematic to come tomorrow (Lag pot and Drone connection).

This is long. Parts are definitely boring but every now again a surprising sound may emerge for a brief second so you might miss something scrolling through.
In the beginning of the vid I mostly changing divider and rotary connections with a couple of jumpers. Then I fiddle with the loop track and response controls. Then I think I changed out the loop speed cap. Then at the end I'm screwing around with my work around for the lag time control. The thing is definitely a fuzzmaker's toolbox. I feel dizzy now.
I'll need to watch the other vids (mainly Dino's ) to see if my multiplier is sounding right. Anyway, more to come!

Tomorrow, when I'm standing in the wind and exhaust of running jet engines, I will not hear Mr. Kenny Loggins. I will hear only PLL.

Jesus Christ. it sounds like Kevin Shields ate Jimi Hendrix for lunch with a side order of Kawabata.

What's crazy is that I don't have any idea of how close it is to the original PLL. There's definitely some questions I have regarding a couple of major connections. Until that's settled there's a tremedous amount of oscilator bleed from the PLL chip. You don't notice it when you are playing as the PLL chips is doing its thing but when not playing there's a shitload of noise. Bread board makes things noisier but there's def some chip noise.
But it's way better than I expected. Some speedballin' Kevin Shields sounds fo sho. As is the multiplier alone is soundinding not great. The divider mixed with the multiplier and the square wave fuzz can sound really really great.
Mad respect for Dino and the kind gentleman who sent the PLL in for inspection / repair. It's at the very least something that people will be able to play finally. It's definitely ripe for modifications and bastardizations.
