I'd take Reimer, he's not too bad. Hiller could also work, but no way Schultz is going anywhere. Yakupov, sure, but no on Schultzy. They are defence deficient, and even though he's more of an offensive type guy, he's still someone on the backline who is worth more than a bag of pucks.

I suggested to my Canuck fan buddy yesterday the idea of a Yakupov for Bieksa and picks trade. He didn't like the idea, but I thought it wasn't too bad.

The Bruins make me fucking do laps around my house cheering, and then they have a fucking stinker like the other night against Detroit. Lucic is finally playing like he cares during a regular season, and Krug has been a fucking revelation, but our second line needs to wake up and score some goddamn points. A line with Bergeron, Marchand and Eriksson should be scoring more. Tuuka has been great, can't argue with a guy giving up less than 2 goals a game.

Schultz was drafted by the Ducks, played in college while he kept assuring the Ducks he was signing with them, then didn't so he could use a CBA loophole where he became an unrestricted free agent and ended up signing with the Oilers. That's why I brought him up as a return for Hiller, well that and I can't think of anyone on the Oil that would work as a return.

The Ducks have basically become a two line team, there's the PPG magic and Winnik-Koivu-Cogliano shutdown type line and the rest is just a black hole. Perrault hasn't done anything the past 10+ games. Murray sent down Etem and Smith-Pelley cause there's too many wingers and they were the only ones not requiring waivers even if they were better than half the other guys. Our defense is ugly, having to play Fistric and AHL journeymen while waiting for Beauchemin, Souray, Allen and Sbisa, well maybe not Sbisa, to get healthy again. The bright spot has been Cam Fowler who has easily been our best defender this season and Hampus Lindholm has looked good without Beauchemin.

I bleed black and gold, and I agree he's totally over the line sometimes. He really needs to knock that shit off. It's one thing to be a pest, but don't become a cheap shot artist. And he needs to stop diving for penalties, too. He looks like one of the Habs when he does that pussy shit.

I'm a Canucks fan and a Jets fan to a lesser degree, and not a huge Habs fan either. But I'm sure as hell cheering for them in this series!

As much as it sucked this year that the Canucks were terrible and didn't make the playoffs, it's kind of nice at the same time. None of the hockey related stress I've been experiencing this time of year for the last several years. Still, I hope that this was a one-off year and the Canucks can get it back together in the future.

After last years Famous loss against Boston .. i'm not shocked that TO didn't make the playoffs. plus Reimer :picard:
Our Jets came on strong with the Coach switch! only to get hopes up .. :(

As a Canucks fan, this season was a huge bummer. I feel like it'll be a couple of seasons before they're playoff contender again.

The Bruins have been playing like stir-fried dogshit and are fucking lucky to be tied in this series. This may be the worst I've seen them play since they lost those 4 straight to the Flyers back in 2010. If they don't get their heads out of their fucking colons, they'll be golfing by next week.
