Hell, in the interest of saving time, I just went ahead and made a comprehensive list of all vintage Orange, Matamp, and Electric Amp Company amps for sale... on the Internet... period. I think I have a problem...

The Sovtek ended up going for $470 USD + shipping, that's pretty good for a factory-condition one.

I saw that Sunn Sorado and and it looks good, with the cab and everything, I think it's a good deal. People associate Sunn with metal now (obvious reasons) but a lot of the models other than the Model T get incredible clean sounds. And huge volume.

I think that the insanely inflated prices on Model T MKI is starting to bleed over onto the other models... they've been getting more expensive over the last year when I see them on stuff. Even Traynors are expensive now. Damn you, Pelican! Damn you, Russian Circles! Damn you, rich-ass fanboys!
$470 is just about right for a Sovtek. I ordered the missing fuse holders and fuses for my Mig100.

As for that Sunn Sorado. I went to buy it and the guy added a $300 shipping fee and I am waiting to hear back to see if the seller will waive it (because he states pick up only and the $300 wasn't there before). I am just hoping that the seller isn't pulling that crap where they drop the price and add shipping to make their original asking price. It has been my dream to own one of these Sunn amps for almost 20 years (since I played one at a music store). I didn't realize they were something until I got onto this message board and started looking again.

Where did you get your fuses holders from? A friend has a Mig in need of one.

I just found some with the closest looking caps. If the caps don't fit, I am just going to replace the whole fuse holder. Seems like a common problem with Migs. I've see a few lately that had the fuse holders replaced. I know that the way that the original cap stuck on there was pretty wonky and terrible.

Silverface Fender Twin with Alnico JBL D-120F speakers for $1095 in Herndon, North Virginia: http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/ ... 47389.html Says it is a 72 but I thought that was early for master volume.

Also, Fender Bassman 10 combo for $350 in Kensington, MD: http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/mld/ ... 37322.html A bit beat, but what do you want for that cheap?

40% off clearance items at the sometimes-hated PrymaxeVintage.com with code SAVE40. Some Infanem and a Mid-Fi among the pedals, some American PRS and Musicman guitars if that floats your boat. Oh, and some of the high-dollar modern Orange heads.
