Well, at least we've established that Trump is not a very good public speaker.

To be fair to our current PM, it is a massive shitstorm that he inherited that is the fundamental failing of the previous four governments to address seriously. Basically he two major parties employ it as a scapegoat to take the heat off of the fact that they arent really doing shit in Parliament oter than make life sweet for themselves sonce they privitised the nation. In addition to the fact that since the exit of John Howard ALL australian politicians have become sycophantic slaves to the polls and the whim of the public, it seems that these poor people caught up in the mess of trying to leave war and famine behind have become human tennis balls in the most disgusting game of political tennis the nation has ever seen.jwar wrote:I still can't bring myself to watching his "speech". That's really fucked up about Australia, I had no idea. Admittedly I know very little about most other countries stances on things like immigration, so that's sad to hear. Seems like Trump and your PM would get along great, but I guess not huh. Fucking assholes.

Yeah, there's about, what, 5 Million refugees?D.o.S. wrote: The math is questionable/wrong but it's hilarious.
That's because the only thing that might stop refugees would be total invasion of Iraq and Syria.Mudfuzz wrote:it's funny you know, no one ever talks about not doing or stopping things that cause refugees...
that's not exactly where I was going… I'm talking about how our [the west] interference in the first place gets these things going...jrfox92 wrote:That's because the only thing that might stop refugees would be total invasion of Iraq and Syria.Mudfuzz wrote:it's funny you know, no one ever talks about not doing or stopping things that cause refugees...
If we did that, Russia might pull out, which would address the whole bombing civilians thing, but it's more likely we'd end up in a completely FUBAR'd war with ISIS on one side and Russia/Assad on the other.
So, it'd look about the same as it does now, just with a bunch of dead Americans to top it off.
Yeah, I mean, it's our fault this is happening in the first place.Mudfuzz wrote:that's not exactly where I was going… I'm talking about how our [the west] interference in the first place gets these things going...jrfox92 wrote:That's because the only thing that might stop refugees would be total invasion of Iraq and Syria.Mudfuzz wrote:it's funny you know, no one ever talks about not doing or stopping things that cause refugees...
