7 new modules in. Now time to unscrew everything and re-install everything.
Check out what people do with the buchla spectral processor...it's not just a filter.yeatsvisitslincoln wrote:http://frap.tools/products/fumana/
Anyone got any thoughts on this? Just saw that it went up for pre order. I know 16 bands is more than the 6 that the 4MS SMR offers, but is it really THAT necessary? And at $1k???
Yeah, I've always wanted something like this and it's definitely something I'd consider adding to my setup if I somehow found the cashlordgalvar wrote:Check out what people do with the buchla spectral processor...it's not just a filter.yeatsvisitslincoln wrote:http://frap.tools/products/fumana/

I've seen neat things like taking apart another song band by band to trigger other gates/envelopes to extract rhythms. It has a ton of uses. Todd Barton has some good stuff and maybe djangofire

Filter, vocoder, band processor, 16 envelopes, harmonic controller...
These are always expensive. Verbos has one too.
What all is in this rack? That sounds fucking incredible... modular is gonna have to happen for me this year.Inconuucl wrote:
I love how it sounds like if it was right on the edge of feedbacking, man this is not helping my gas.
Batumi, 2 Pico modules (attenuators I think?), Spectral Multiband Resonator, Clouds, Erica Black DSP, and something called a Boomstar QuadnicBoatRich wrote:What all is in this rack? I’m sure the embed won’t work because I’m on mobile, but whatever.
Some people have seen these on Instagram, but here’s a YT supercut of me controlling my rack with drums. Mostly sketches of ideas and first attempts at different patches and trigger arrangements. Phone speakers are shit for this, not because it’s good audio, but because there’s some sub bass and 808 kick stuff that will be inaudible at low volume on a phone.
I've been watching and enjoying your synth + drum instagram videos for awhile, but somehow totally missed that you were controlling your rack with the drums$harkToootth wrote:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=83N4FHSDf30Invisible Man wrote:

Okay. So that looks amazing and my original skepticism was unwarranted. Having those abilities would be awesome.lordgalvar wrote:Check out what people do with the buchla spectral processor...it's not just a filter.yeatsvisitslincoln wrote:http://frap.tools/products/fumana/
