Hyperdrive was cool but I was kinda expecting more from it, I dunno :idk:

I was probably getting my hopes a little high by expecting a cross between Spaced and Red Dwarf. Still funny though and worth watching.

Ryan wrote:That's awesome, Trey! Tanya and I pondered that exact same place in Negril I think.. we were really close to doing that but something about a road trip pulled us in that direction. I'd love to see pics and we'd still love to have a holiday like that... and shucks, I'd feel obliged to take the locals up on their offerings... *wink*

We love that resort idea though, just hanging around eating and drinking and relaxing.. that's totally our idea of a holiday!

I think if people knew what cool stuff we were talking about in here they'd join in more... pretty fun thread...

Yeah man. It's good times - we should have an ILF sponsored trip to Jamaica sometime :yay:

I'll try and post pics at some point....just gotta find where I saved them :picard:

No new tv stuff for me...mostly been playing Kingdoms of Amalur in my free time.

Right on, Blake, thanks! Haha I hated Lost too, what a waste of a cool premise and interesting first season...

You guys should check out the new Dr. Who... it's very fun and cool sci-fi, great premises and stories and adventures, and the Dr. is always a cool guy traveling with a cool lady.. it's just a fun cool tv show. Even Tanya, who would never ever have watched any sci-fi ever in her life, really easily got into Dr. Who and loved it.

I liked Hyperdrive a lot, thought it was great! I'm a sucker for those British sitcoms though, they're always funny! Same with Spaced, that's a great show too. I just feel really strongly about Red Dwarf, I can't get enough of it. Over the last couple weeks I watched all the documentary stuff that comes with each season's DVD release, they're all on YouTube, some are an hour and a half long awesome docs with all the guys, great extra stuff.

Grimm isn't bad hey! Monsters rule.

Geeez, we should definitely have a Caribbean ILF holiday.. I know just the guy to talk to about it too.... *stares at futuresailors*

Kingdom of Amalur is a pretty cool game, I watched a lot of it too on YouTube, it's a gooder.

TV is back. HUZZAH :!!!:

Me and the wife dig How I Met Your Mother, The Office, Parks and Rec, and she really likes Up All Night. 30 Rock and Modern family start back soon as well. Our lives are all serious and grown up, so we tend to watch sitcoms more than anything else.

We finished watching Weeds recently. It's kind of weird that the series is over. I'm not completely sure how I feel about the series finale, but I generally liked it, and can't recall a series finale that really lived up to my expectations.

We started watching Breaking Bad on Netflix, which was an immensely great decision. We only watched two episodes and I am already hooked.

I'm watching the poker tournament on ESPN, and watching occasional episodes of No Reservations on Netflix, since I managed to completely miss that show until now.

Woo, yes it is!

Found a show called "The New Normal" on Hulu that isn't half bad. Kinda like Modern Family if they only focused on the gays. And then added a live-in surrogate oven, her daughter, and her racist mom. I had a couple of chuckles.

Trey, my wife and I watch every one of those sitcoms too! *smile* Tanya even makes me watch the bad ones, like.. Melissa and Joey... generally though, sitcoms rule. It's awesome when they all start back up!

I'm most excited for Always Sunny and Red Dwarf!

The New Normal is really funny, we dig it too, Blake! It's got a hilarious style and I love when shows show how nice and normal alternative lifestyles are and how hateful and judgmental the 'normal' people are. Like that asshole in the clothing store that was giving them grief...

High Five! We should all get together and have a sitcom party one night.

I am super excited about Always Sunny coming back. I really liked last season, and I've even started liking the few before that even more now that I watch the reruns in the evenings while I'm on the treadmill at the gym.

I forgot to mention a couple as well. Louie was great this season (but not nearly as bleak and depressing...can't decide if that's good or bad yet). I'm still a huge fan of Wilfred as well - I don't even look at it as a comedy any more. The last episode of this season was great. I'm pissed I have to wait until next summer to pick the story back up.

Louie is too damn bleak and depressing for us... that humour just doesn't work for us, we're too sensitive! *smile*

We haven't finished up Wilfred yet either... think it'll be back for season 3?

I wonder when Workaholics comes back...

This Thursday night... Red Dwarf series X... I'm giddy over here!

If Wilfred doesn't come back for season 3, I'm going to find the FX offices and demand that someone sits down with me and tells me how the show is supposed to end.

Louie is definitely bleak. This season wasn't that depressing until the finale. It was one of the most beautifully depressing things I've ever watched. There is a scene about half way through it where I started to tear up and laugh hysterically all at once because it was so crushing and absurd simultaneously. The end of the episode is really sweet and happy though. Louie CK...always toying with my emotions.

Workaholics is the best bro comedy ever. I actually recorded Conan last night since Adam was on and I want to see what he had to say.

Haha yeah, Tanya and I are too sentimental for that bleak humour... Louie sounds like a special show though, not your ordinary kind of sitcom hey?

So next Thursday, the 11th, is the return of Always Sunny!

Also I wanted to mention some hilarious British sitcoms that are on right now, gotta get them from torrent sites if you can't watch BBC but I don't think they'll mind... check out: The Gates, Bad Education, Moone Boy (with Chris Odowd), Cuckoo (with Andy Samberg), and this weekend Friday Night Dinner (with Fran from Black Books!) comes back, hilarious show.

Yeah...I have a soft spot for oddly depressing funny shows sometimes. Moral Orel was a good example of this.

I'm very, very pumped about always sunny. Are they doing a full episode with the 'replacement' cast?

That replacement cast stuff is hilarious! We wouldn't have been able to watch that video on Facebook without unblock-us.com, so any Canucks reading this should check that out, 5 bucks a month for American Netflix and access to American videos online that you usually get told you can't watch because you're in Canada.

Ok, I think it's safe to say that Red Dwarf is back in fine flippin' form! Tonight's episode pleased me in all the ways I was hoping for, barring a return of either Holly, and I'm still beyond excited that it's back and it's back awesomely.

What sort of show is Red Dwarf? All the talk here has me curious.
