Snipers in online shootin' games are the worst. Unless it's a deathmatch mode, they just sit back and flail their e-penis around as their kill:death ratio skyrockets even though their team is losing 'cause 90% of them are snipers and nobody's going for the objective.

Fuckin' snipers.

Tell me about it! You just have to think like a sniper. I've spent some time in Modern Warfare 2 sniping, and now I know all their stupid little tricks and hiding places. Now I'm not caught off guard as much by their shenanigans. What really gets me  are the campers who hide out near entrance points with the submachine guns and shotguns.

What the fuck. Sounds like the plot to National Treasure.
Naughty Dog needs to step up before Hollywood ruins the entire IP.

I mean all they had to do was recreate the game with real people, the game basically played like a movie.
It seemed like a slam dunk/how could they fuck this up project...but it sounds like a bucket of fail.

WTF. why must they ruin amazing games? for example, house of the dead used to be a sweet game. what could possibly go wrong? well leave it to Uwe Boll to figure out how to destroy a franchise.

I just want to say how much I bloody well love the new Splatterhouse remake. Even if Rick does now just look like John Cena in a skull mask, rather than the Voorhees ripoff he was in the original.

A fun game, and one that very much revels in it's excesses of blood and guts.

DKCR: Not done yet but I thought I'd chime in.

It looks like a kiddie game, but FUCK some of the levels are hard. I've been gaming for 20 years and I was sweating on more than a few levels. The cavern boss took me nearly 20 tries.

Though everything is just TOO cute and cuddly.
Perhaps it's nostalgia (something I've been exploring lately in both my writing and music), but while DKC 1/2 had a playful tone, they rarely felt child-like...there was always a hint of menace/danger.

Fighting disney-like crabs, moles and pirates straight out of spongebob is somewhat lame in comparison to the lizard-men-pseudo-nazi Kremlings, sharp fanged crocs and giant birds that populated the SNES games.
Everything just feels soft and inviting, I almost want to jump into that pit of rounded off sorta-spikey things because they might be made of marshmellows and sunshine.

I just feel the tone is off, which is surprising considering what Retro did with the metroid prime series (some of the best games of the last generation).
Still, the difficulty level is very refreshing. I really wish there were more side scrolling platformers these days

Yeah I've been Minecrafting lately on a friend's server.

We encountered a glitch where a huge pillar of those placeholder "loading" blocks appeared -- it stretched past the clouds. Suddenly I was getting like 1 frame per second as it started collapsing and exploding. The loading blocks turned into TNT blocks that were flying all over the place and detonating like a chain. It blew away everything. I eventually crashed and upon rejoining the server saw that there was a MASSIVE deep hole in the earth. What had been a lake was now several waterfalls and I could see into some underground tunnel systems that had been opened up.

Serious WTF there, no idea what happened.
