Got-tam! Looks exciting and great!multi_s wrote:q switch bump....
the new model has arrived/taking pre orders, there are also some NOS VINTAGE versions available in the new web store

yes on the new version the q switch works at any time.Inconuucl wrote:Okay, so this is where I am confused. Do you still have to be in mode 1 to change quantization in the new version? If so then I guess I can understand what you're saying, but if you can change them in any mode in the new version then I'd probably want that one. I'm not trying to rag on you, it's just that changing q modes more easily was one of my main wishes.multi_s wrote:no, there will still be more Q modes in the firm update. The new Q switch is momentary, it always returns to center, so you flick through a list of q modes, therefore not limited to 3. don;t worry it is the same capability wise as the first version/can have more than 3 q modes/the method from either version lends itself to this situation.
yes we will release the new firm when these start shipping. it will save the mode when you power down on both versions.goosekevin wrote:the firm update will save the quantisation with power off and whatnot yeah? if it does im sweet with my older one.
but maybe....two pedals is better than one......
The Q setting will be saved. I'm not sure if the "transcendental sample" firmware will be released at the same time or not.phantasmagorovich wrote:Hey look!
V2 is here!
And here I am, thinking about getting it again, even though the GB24 prevailed over my Ct5.
Scott, which of the firmware changes you referred to earlier in the thread are going to be on this? With the Q switch obviously it will be possible to change Quantization in any mode, what about all the other stuff? Saving loops through mode changes, saving Q setting through power down etc.
Am I correct in assuming there will be no difference in the sound? Or will there be any filtering going on?
Maybe check your spam? This is the first time I have used an automated mail list, but it seems from the stats that most people got the email. It should come form mtl.asm@gmail.com. You can sign up again to the list at http://eepurl.com/beoQ0r or you can email me directly and i can add you manually if you don't think it worked.doommeow wrote:Preordered(but never got the email announcing the release?

Did you scale up and I didn't notice?multi_s wrote: we

I use "we" to refer to the idea of the company i suppose. However, it is true that there are other people involved at different times. During the last run there were as many as 4 of us. We will expand again to fill these orders no doubt. I am working a lot also with another programmer though, and there will be something coming out this summer that is hardware i made for his software, I'm not sure if it will be under mtl.asm or not, but it seems likely at this point. So in that sense there is also a "we".jwar wrote:oldangelmidnight wrote:Did you scale up and I didn't notice?multi_s wrote: we
Good catch!!!
You didn't answer me!!!lol
Will there be more runs of these? Please say yes.
I've been really happy to see the mtl.asm project flourish. I love your ideas and I'm gladdened to see the whole thing so successful, so far.multi_s wrote: I use "we" to refer to the idea of the company i suppose.
