Then he posts a childish video like this. I could picture him trying to fabricate an elaborate "now under new mgmt" scheme just to continue ripping people off...

What I don't get is why he was so lazy he didn't even bother having his "overseas manufacturer" change up their layouts enough to make it not blatantly obvious that these are joyos. If you are going to rip people off, at least do some actual work so it isn't so ridiculously obvious that you're ripping them off.

Exactly. Surely there isn't a businessman/woman stupid enough out there to buy off this failure, and attempt to run a business under the same name with such a horrendous reputation.
