oof. i sound like a defensive ass fan boy. i didn't want to read it at first 'casue of the Tweeny overtones, but i was out of books so i lent it to myself from my mom's Kindle library and did dig on it a lot.

Battle Royale 2 (ze movie) is fucking horrible. in a way different way than the og BR was horrible. not the good horrible kind of movie.

  I wasn't aware there was a book for BATTARU ROYARU!
"Kawa-chan walked down the path and was shot with an arrow. Yama-san ran to her and was shot with an arrow. As they lay dying, Toro emerged from the underbrush to stab them both in the face with an arrow." I'd probably read that...

Battle Royal 2 sucked giant dicks. That's giant the noun. Wasn't even fun as a drinking game.

Speaking of dicks, I have to deal with a big white one.

Yeah, it's not the best translation. That kinda bothered me at first, but I got used to it. It's a pretty quick read once you get into it.

(The movie's actually based on the novel.)

The movie is even more fucking ridiculous than the novel, for the most part.
Japan has a real aptitude for making B-movies.
Probably because their dramas haven't been good since like 1970.

I'm not too into biographies or the Che Guevara mythology, but this has been laying on my bookshelf since 07 so I figured I might as well give it a shot. Not too bad . Moving on to The Nine Billion Names of God to keep with my end of the world theme afterwards.

so far, it's more concerned with just facts and doesn't seemed to have any political bias either way. Then again, I'm only to the part where he's entered medical school :idk:
I'm hoping once I get to the juicy bits the book picks up a little bit TBH...real life is no fun to read about

But Behnders, what do you really think?

Real life Che is probably not something you could fit into either of those sentences.
