Getting a badass mandala tattoo this morning done by a local underground artist. Really looking forward to it. This guys style is pretty badass. Will update with photos later this afternoon

Yeah, no license but I've been getting work done this way for a few years now. This guy has a pro set up, so I'm not too worried in that respect. I've seen a lot of this dudes work, as well. He's legit as hell.

But if you're wondering, the answer is yes. I will post photos and video if the unlikely chance it does get infected and puss filled \m/ O.O \m/

Backside of my left arm, opposite my Viking skull. He even incorporated that design into this new one that you can't really see too well. The smoke from the skull rolls into a small part of the mandala. He did a really nice job.

And I gotta back pedal a little bit. I was thinking that this guy was gonna do this out of his house/apt, but actually he had a small studio in a salon/spa that specializes in permanent make up. Kinda random, but it gave a sense of being in an actual shop haha. I was impressed.

patience is a bitch w/ my solar system sleeve. first two sessions, took fucking forever with us figuring out where we're placing planets. now i have to wait FIVE WEEKS before he can get me in again to finish that up & start coloring in.

but his talent is worth it. dude is fucking booked after that until july!
so i've lined up sessions then & august & will have a better idea how many more is hould line up at my march session...

That is how you know you have the a great, established artist. My buddy is booked out that far for sure. I am sneaking in on Saturday because he had an appointment that cancelled, I am trading him a mixer for a couple of hours. Both of us feel like we are walking away winners so it's a good deal.
