message sent to Conky. I fucking love you all. Yes I just got back from the abr but I fucking mean it man, good fucking people here! Mad motivated to finish the other songs we have half recorded now.

New drummer may potentially blow the old one out of the water. Dude is fucking good. I really liked our old drummer too. This could turn out very well. Happy saint paddy's to all!

I AM DOING IT ALL MYSELF!!!!! I MAY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I AM DOING1111!!!1 WOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

:idk: :!!!:   and good times were had by all.

Edit: in all seriousness, Tony's put in a lot of time and effort the last few days working on this stuff as well. But yeah, sometimes i feel like we are flying blind. We got the drum tracks done knowing zak was leaving and now we're trying to finish the stuff without him. kinda sucks but I feel a lot better about the future after todays jam. If new drummer commits to this we are golden. :thumb:

Nice one dude. You guys are doing a pretty good job then.
I just thought it would be cool to get a professional master done on that track. Everything sounds so much better after mastering, its where the big magic happens. I think that track zazzed up to sweet hi-fi standards would be interfuckingstellar.

When I say that, of course, I mean that if you had a bunch of tracks to do then obviously, you would do em all at once and save some of the cost. Although the dude that mastered my band's ep many moons ago apparently. will do tracks individually. Not sure if its more or less expensive though. My guess would be more.

Mastering one track at a time is usually pretty cheap. Mammoth Sound and Enormous Door will both master individual songs. That reminds me, I forgot to put in the email that I sent to everyone that I'd be mastering the 12" split so you guys wouldn't need to do that before sending in your track.

If you're ever in Ireland go to the Roisin Dubh bar in Galway. It's awesome.

Glad you've found something, mate. I went through a phase around 2009-2010 where I was barely playing any guitar. I was buying gear, but I wasn't playing it that much. I had moved on to drums and was really enjoying it. But after time I realised how much I missed guitar. U found a new love and passion for it, and eventually quit the drums. I don't play three or four hours a day like I used to, but I still love it to death. Maybe you'll pick it up again another time.

Hey man! Likewise...the HC cluster fuck was kind of a blessing; I'm wasting a lot less time on the Internet, playing guitar when I can...kids are fucking up my "me" time, and started mountain biking. My new obsession.

If you're not playing guitar as much, you should go ahead and bro deal me on one of those Ampegs. ;)

Dude, awesome to see you around! Can't go wrong with the Kyuss full show post. :thumb:

What's this other hobby you speak of btw??

I've been through that phase a couple times myself, more time spent online researching/buying gear than actually playing that gear. I finally came to my senses and have avoided getting back into that habit ever since but it seems harder and harder to find the time to play in a normal day full of work and child and fiance, esp at any satisfying volume levels. :(
