Had to have one of those 88's, stumbled across some cheap on ratkuten, through chuya and been buying all my hard to find MIJ goods there ever since. Still have my original providence stampede I bought through chuya, and can also highly recommend that shop.
On a somewhat "I am a weak dude" side note, I now have 18 LAL pedals/noise makers.
I wish I knew Analogman sold them back then. When I found out about LAL it must have been late 2001 or 2002 and I was terrified of a bank transfer (all of the old pedals were still in production). I'll never stop kicking myself for missing those old pedals.
There is a rattle crow up on Yahoo Auctions JP.

These are kind of fun too, DJ sampler with 1/4" jacks:

Where is that LAL/Seppuku/Austrailian Pedal support group thread?
Can't play without that LAL sound though. I should go put down my floor substrate so I can actually go use 'em...

The best weakness.

You know, one day we will all be in a bidding war over an 87. I can feel it.

I tried to contact the guy but he doesn't reply. Maybe he will only respond to e-mail addresses ending with .ca or .com.

My family lives on an island about an hour from there. Let's see if I can get this thing into the ILF realm.
Dude probably wants cash in person.

He got back to me. He only wants to deal in person. Hmm...too bad I couldn't convince my mom to take a ferry up there (but it would probably cost more than the pedal). Anybody in BC want to pick this up? If he is still selling it in November (eh, maybe?), I will go pick it up and take a look around Canada.

I'm in BC, but I'm on the mainland. Not sure that there are any Vancouver Island ILFers, unfortunately.

Yea, my family is out by Bellingham, kinda. It's not even worth the favor to call it in...He is selling to a kind of small market with a specific item. I guess that's why it hasn't sold in 6 months.
