Argos Bleak seems mighty interesting, quantized A minus B seems like you could make some whackadoodle generative stuff with that.

Harmonaig came in. I need some stable oscillators because this thing is a gamechanger.

Always wanted to reply to this thread; NO, we cannot talk about fucking modular. Shut up. I love you and want the best for you, so just... no.

We need to talk...

About modular synths.

it's so gooooooooood.

i'm interested in the ADDAC Intuitive Harmonizer too, because MYLAR. the feature set on the Harmonaig is easier to get to, the ADDAC seems super similar, but way smaller.

also, have you looked at the Klavis Twin Waves? small hp, dual oscillator where you can lock in the tuning. sounds good like butts.

ADDAC stuff always seems more expensive than their feature sets makes then to be. Even within the realm of modular. :idk:

OH WEOW SOMETHING MODULAR IS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN ONE WOULD EXPECT????

lol. buying modular loots has COMPLETELY skewed my understanding of cost vs value.

dabnabit.

Why get an Addac 207 when you could have an O+C?

Here's a pic of my updated rig, before the Varigate 4+ was added. Super enamored with this setup. The case is an absolute dream. I was even able to synth in the backseat of a car going to see family yesterday. Many great wigglin's await me with this beauty.

Bare Mountain Bears has the haetness. BOOF.

Darkest Barniest - murrrr. because iiiii.... do not like thr O_c interface at all. i might grab a micro at some point, because it DOES do all the things. but if i swapped the Harmonaig for sumphin, would needs be a good, interactive, intuitive interface.

ALL THE I WORDS WOOOOOOIIIT.

The case is a beauty, and the module selection is great. I'm seeing a lot of Varigate 4+'s in the wild already. Starting to consider an upgrade due to sheer mob mentality. :picard:

Mylar is fucking dangerous, dude. I think Harmonaig is much easier to setup to do something you'd want, but ADDAC could probably get MUCH wilder and unique with the four inputs.

I checked out the Klavis Twin Waves, but I think I'm leaning towards the Instruo Troika since I could probably knock one of my other oscillator clusters off with just this, plus the convenience of the output config.

lol. i am NOT going to argue against ANYTHING Instruo, and the Troika sounds so good. but it's analog oscs. i thought you were trying to get away from that?

yeh u right.

Honestly idk what kind of oscillator I want. I hear a filter and I immediately know whether I like it or not. Same with an effect or even drum voice.

The only oscillator to ever make me stop and say wow was the Braids (before I actually purchased any Eurorack modules, which ultimately disappointed me IRL), Atlantis (fully worth the HP), and Akemie's Castle (which has thus far exceeded expectations once I understood the controls).

:idk: :idk: :idk:

oof. yesh. Atlantis is HUGE but i have the interests.

and like. i would be more than happy with only ALM stuff. SO freaking sexy. want. ALL OF IT.

ADDAC is the shit ya'll. I have and love their VC Fixed Filter bank. I have used my buddy's Marble Physics and is a really take on random.p (gimme). I used to have their deluxe sample player.

The thing about ADDAC is that they were way ahead of the curve for a few years and now Euro has caught up and there are different, newer options these days. Their build quality is excellent and they look gorgeous in real life, especially their red modules.
