lol. i got to "work" (a friend's sister was hired to do the catering, so we carried stuff for about 2 hours in the morning then enjoyed our backstage passes the rest of the day) at the Lalapalooza that Fishbone and Primus played back in the day out here. hanging out in the back a bunch of people where playing basketball, and i used to run a couple hours 3 or 4 times a week. so we're balling and about half of Fishbone came in on the next team. was hella fun.

but then when i was taking a breather between games Les and Larry wandered over and ended up standing next to me. Larry said, "you're good.", i stuttered out a thanks, Les said something that i can't remember at all because i'm such a huge fan (him and Cliff Burton and Tom Jenkinson are why i started playing bass) that i got wide-eyed and said something like, "um.... yeah.... i can't.... i can't talk to you. i have too huge a crush. i'm gonna.... gonna go play basketball. *whisper* i love you."

wasn't creepy at all for him i'm sure. but i was like 17. fucking stupid kids. i SHOULD have cracked his skull open and ate his brain to gain his knowledge like i always said i would. i was such a PUSSY.

For 2012 I'm gonna try to not buy any new gear. Which means I don't want to sell any gear either, because then I'll have a smaller pile of crap to amuse myself with, and besides, these days I'm too poor to pretend that minimizing is some form of noble cause. So I'm gonna let my TalkButt althetic sipporting membershit expire, and I know that means my avatar will disappear, but I am wondering if my Audio Terrorist Sympathizer tagline will evaporate as well, and to be perfectly honest, that would make me a little sad. What does this all mean? NOTHING.
