Got an order confirmation from Seppuku today. Guess it's shipped? At least it's something :idk:

Ecco Mod and DPM-2 are both so deep they have swallowed me whole, and I haven't even got around to running them together.... :joy:

That should mean that it's shipped, yes.

I got my order confirmations too... For three out of the four pedals I ordered. Junktone and Repeater were already done when I ordered them, and the picture of the DLFOv2 on the site is of mine, so that has probably been finished too. No word on the RadioFreq though. I'm hoping that it ships with the others so that I won't have to pay import fees twice.

Thanks--I'll try to throw something together this weekend--it is crazy how many great tones are in there--I want to put a big roller knob on the right hand "input gain" control and maybe swap the dynamics/sensitivity pot for a push-pull so I can get a wider sweep in the low sensitivity range because there is a LOT of gold to be panned there, but I want to preserve the original sweep too, so I'll be running through pots looking for a push/pull that has similar specs.

It's funny--at first the repeats knob was non-functional, then something caused it to kick in--I've had this problem with other pedals, so I didn't panic at all, but may need to swap out that pot too. Don't want to get cray cray though, because this box is magic in the best way--despite being able to interpret and understand what each control is manipulating, I still get unexpected and awesome results from their interaction. Externalizing the usually hidden delay time trim is an especially nice touch.

And even without the modulation dynamics turned on, this is an incredible delay with a billion uses--I'm even finding it soothes my strooooong Memory Loss GAS sumawt. My closest comparison is my Industrialectric Echo Degrader, and while at first I was worried my impulsiveness had led me to acquire near functional twins, I can safely say the Ecco Mod brings quite a few new tricks, and the Echo Degrader is still king for certain other great tones/uses--so sweet Venn diagram win. I can't wait to run them together....

As for the DPM-2--it is pure Wiggsville, but the number of tones I can get that are not pure insanity is extremely gratifying--it can easily be dialed in for sweet fuzz tones with just a touch of octave or ring mod kissing the pure and stable fundamental, and there are loads of not-really-fuzz-but-pure-digi-awesome tones that sound great with arpeggi and such. I normally run revolving slots on my board for low gain, klassikfuzz and whackassery, and the DPM-2 can easily fill the two higher gain slots alone, and with style points--even the Russian judges have to give it 10s across the board.

OK, sorry for tl/dr gush--see sig. Out.

I love long reads on Seppuku pedals! DPM-2 has been on my want-list for too long. Soooooon!

Mem Loss and EcoMod are very, very different pedals. You'll need both! :joy:

I'm glad you are enjoying the DPM, dandolin! Yea, it gets some neat tones but it just wasn't for me and I thought it needed a better home. I've got all my Lastgasp anyway! haha.

The DPM-2 is so great. It will not leave my home. Dandolin already said it: it's able to produce anything between bizarro world and classic fuzz.

A note about faulty Seppuku switches: Rhys isn't well-known for ultra-professional soldering and building skills. My Octave Synth refused to switch between the two modes one day. I had to open it up and bend the wires and connections a bit that caused a short. So if something doesn't work, check the wires and connections. The parts that Rhys uses for his pedals are of very good quality and normally absolutely reliable.

Mind Warp in Japan up on EBay--LOVE the psuedo-Haiku description:
The check lamp is no problem.
However, we do not know this pedal effect is correct or not.
We lack full appreciation of this pedal.
and the listing title is no slouch:
