Oh, I have plans with this and the Protostar. Though, I'm really beginning to need a separate source for LFO's. I could just get some Happiness in my life, though. I really want to use an LFO to sweep through the wave table!baremountain wrote:haha same. But dual CV in...yeatsvisitslincoln wrote:Damn. In a nutshell, pretty much all of their offerings are clones, and they're connected to a fundamentalist Christian church that donates to/promotes a lot of horrible causes. I mean, firstly they blatantly steal other people's circuits and sell them as their own - they've got maybe a couple original pedals out of the several dozen they've produced. I think we can all agree that's pretty lame?actualidiot wrote:PeteeBee wrote:What I don't get is that a one knob chorus doesn't make any sense, and a one knob reverb is pretty useless too. Please elaboratebaremountain wrote:JHS is a pretty terrible company for a ton of reasons
Yeah that Protostar has been on my radar too, but having a Happiness I question whether I need another dedicated filter hahayeatsvisitslincoln wrote:Oh, I have plans with this and the Protostar. Yeah I was bummed when I saw everyone so excited about it (even John Mayer commented) but the Generation Loss is so much better and cooler. Wish more people knew about it :/popvulture wrote:That bums me out hard. It makes me squirm that RA does the retro graphics thing as though nobody's ever thought of it before.jrfox92 wrote:
Seems like someone was a little inspired by a certain ILF builder...
Also, I find it funny that JHS is pairing with Ryan Adams (considering the recent thing between Midnight and Adams).
Honestly, though. If it turns out to actually be cool, I'd probably trade someone for it/buy it second hand.

I'm pretty sure this is spot on. I've gotten a truckload of inquiries about the AARP and GenLoss on my channel. I think he would have to build a lot of pedals before had could keep stock. I know he had some stock on the AARPs in the early days, but I think there are enough demos out there now. I'm looking forward to his glitch pedal a whole lot.baremountain wrote:It's reasonable to think that between Cooper FX & school though, Teej might be producing about as many pedals as he'd like to at this point?

TJ is awesome. Looking forward to the glitch pedal too. The AARP may be the first piece of gear I buy a second one of.UglyCasanova wrote:I'm pretty sure this is spot on. Spot on. Though I treat Morissey like Ryan Adams these days.monkeydancer wrote:I really try to ignore things Ryan Adams does outside his music because I'm a huuuuge fan of most of his sounds, but he can do dumb things that are annoying.
Then again I have no problem liking Morrissey.

Pretty much. I like a lot of his stuff, esp the Dead-ier things. Cold Roses, mmm.Disarm D'arcy wrote:Spot on.
