Yup, Modded Triangle Spec. Something like an extra resistor in the tone circuit that gives it a volume boost the more you turn it to the bass side.

Not too long ago I think. Hmmm, sitar? Maybe a little on the treble setting with gain rolled back. I can see that. It's thin with no low end and grainy mids in that mode, basically. Maybe that's what a sitar sounds like?

The treble mode is great for stacking (and I'm sure it's neat for lead guitar solos, which I don't know how to do or have any interest in doing), but I like it with barely any gain in octave mode. Fuzz with a flu.

Sounds cool! In UGs demo the Octave Drone sounded a bit like a sitar that's why I asked about that. And did you buy the Mind Warp directly from Rhys?

I don't recall how it sounded in his demo, but I'll go back and have a listen. I think UG plays through a AC15, and I play through a AC30, so they should sound pretty similar. I remember liking the sound in his demo, so maybe my life is a lie and I should have been a sitarist all along.

I got the Mind Warp from an ILF-neighbour to the east, Brandsmannen.

How comes that he did part with it?

I think he just didn't use it enough to justify keeping it. I really dig it. So much that I fear that the Sonic Crayon vibrato might just get flipped. Well, we'll see, as I haven't even gotten it yet.
