Tonight's episode was so entirely satisfying and shocking all at the same time. Fucking awesome!

It was great, although...
I wish they had ended it with Arya and the Hound, Sandors loss of all esteem he had, great moment, trying to incite her anger and then begging her. Ice cold Arya. so well done.
Tyrions escape could have been an episode unto itself.

My wife can't turn down a chance for a theme menu - countless italian specialties back in the days of the Sopranos, posole christmas style for the Breaking Bad finale, and the midwestern hot dish she's planning for Fargo tomorrow night.
Last night : her take on Sansa's favorite lemon cakes and
pigeon chicken pie for the main course. The pie she festooned with the sigil of our house, our two cats....

Best season finale yet. Didn't leave me saying "wtf" at the end like the last 2 seasons. Just Awesome.

I was disappointed that the mother of dragons turned into a pussy. Hopefully she redeems herself next season.

I just can't go on the message boards at westeros.org anymore. It's just a bunch of book purist crybabies. "WAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! This one cheeky one-liner by this one character didn't make it into the show! This is the WORST SHOW EVER!! Benioff and Weiss eat babies!"

Shae: Curious to see if she'll have an acting career after this
The little fairy girl fireblasting Jojen's body was pretty silly. One of the most yawn/whatever deaths yet. The greenseer telling Bran he'll fly maybe means he'll eventually be controlling the dragons? That's what I thought from the book anyway.
Brienne/Hound: Pretty awesome. It didn't change anything important, and it made the Hound's demise a bit more of an event than it was in the book, which is a good thing. Pushing it as far as 'bonus material' type changes go, but still within reasonable boundaries.
Really glad they did that Qyburn scene. Herbert Westeros!
