Shitty video of my cat playing with her christmas toys. Other cat looks on.

Welp, I tried getting the video to work on here, but to no avail. I am a failure.
Fixed it ;)

My family rescued these two on Christmas Eve:

They came with a sad story. Someone dropped 9 cats off at the Humane Society in a sealed box. All of the cats were treated with dog flea remover, which is poisonous to cats, and left all of them blind. But after proper treatment they all regained their sight and these two were the last to get adopted. They're actually the best of friends and literally do everything together.
This one hid for the past week and is just coming out now. This is the first time it decided to come cuddle with me/plot my murder:

Awww that's awesome. Everytime I'm at a pet shop that has cat adoptions I always want to bring at least one of them home with me, but I think that three is enough (until we get a bigger place at least).

I feel awful for all the kitties and dogs in shelters and animal rescue. This especially makes me sick: http://www.mlive.com/news/saginaw/index ... ed_to.html

I've been to that "animal rescue" before. It smelt terrible and a lot of the people working there were quite rude.

yeah it's terrible. Hell I feel guilty at petco when ya check out and it asks you to give a dollar to shelters and I say no. I'm normally buying over $100 dollars of pet food (4 LARGE dogs and a cat) and wondering if the wife and I will have enough $ to be able to feed ourselves. All our beasts are rescues and we are maxed out. I still see things about dogs needing a home and have to stop myself.

I've got a crazy kitty going in for the snip on Tuesday, and another for a spay in a month. All I can think is "what are they going to do without each other all day long???"
