I would probably get a delay with longer times maybe something that did some harmony type delays and had modulation.

Yeah, I haven't been able to decide on a delay. I was thinking I'd get a DL4 just to fill out as much delay need as possible until I figured out what specific kinds of delay I wanted.

Not a bad move, I have a timebender and it does just about anything but I think I need the footswitch to get the most out of it.

I'd suggest getting a pitch-shifter of some kind. The pogs, micro pogs, and hogs all look way awesome. My favorites are the Ring Thing and mxr bass octave, the digital pitch-shifters have a lag that bugs me but the bass octave is dang fast and has a great punch to it even if it isn't polyphonic. The whammy's fun, but never by itself.
Or a dedicated tremolo of some kind. I'm looking forward to the Ultimate Tremolesence

but with that volume pedal you might not need it too much. It's like you have a variable wave-shape version of the moses

Tremolo is definitely on my to-buy list. I'm torn between the Tremolessence, EQD Hummingbird, and a couple others that are slipping my mind. Without having them to play in person with my setup, it's hard to say what I'd like. The Repeat Percusison-based trems like the Hummingbird seem like my thing, though.
I need to see what the And Aardvarks does with my amp, but I kind of feel like I need more gain, if that's not silly

But really, to get that garage-rock-overdriven-amp sound. Not sure if my Ampeg + overdrive can get me there, still waiting on an attenuator that will let me play it cranked with headphones, so that the neighbors don't complain.
I'd really love a POG2, I just don't know when I'll be able to afford one. I'd also really like to get a vibe that doesn't have the Dano Vibe's GAY HATE, and also switches on immediately (doesn't need to warm up), has adjustable volume/gain, more speed range, etc. I've never played a dejavibe but I imagine I'll just buy one used eventually.
Don't know what else I'm missing. Other guitarists do so much more with much less gear.

Dude, I love my hummingbird it sounds great, and has a ton of output.
As far as heavy drives I have a dirty bomb headed my way and am pretty jazzed. Have thrown about 5 different "metal" pedals in and out of my board and never settled on one, currently it's all fuzz and OD.

I couldn't resist getting this tiny Malekko trem today at the store. It's all the trem I need for now!

(not my pic -- I'll update this post with my board after I'm home tonight and re-arrange things)
Edit: here's my board as of now, after much rearranging (even if it doesn't look like it, spent quite a bit of time with everything pulled off the board and measuring / testing.)

Note that the VFM is officially bumped off, as is the Dano Cool Cat Vibe. And I need to velcro down that trem (I've got 48 hours to return it, so if it doesn't play well with everything, I want to be able to. So far, it just didn't like the Dano vibe.)
Things that I'm still missing: more modulation, the And Aardvarks (which will be on its way soon), and being able to play well and rock out

newest setup (got the tone reaper today!)
Currently out of room.
I have a modded crybaby and a rotovibe I have to add on the front end at some point but I think I need a bigger board.
or.... what would you remove?

How big is your board now? 24x16"?

15 x 31 (guessing on the width might be 35)
I want a homeade wedge style, I think that would be ideal, Right now on the right is my wifes piano and the left is the wall so the footprint I get for gear becomes a problem.
But if I can make something that slides out from under a 5 guitar rack I would be golden.
