holy shit i did xmas with my roommates last night and the guy i've lived with for 6 years gave me a preorder confirmation for the daggum Make Noise CV Bus 7U case :')
I also went ahead and bought an Erbeverb, so when that arrives & I get my Varigate 4+ my first case will be all fulled up !!!!!

Yeah I feel mad blessed. He's got a bit of higher budget than I due to a job that pays ~10x my hourly wage & some seriously early-on Bitcoin investments so my gift to him isn't on *quite* the same eschelon, but we got him a custom pipe & I designed/printed examples of a few t-shirts for a cryptocurrency-themed online t-shirt store we'd been talking about. And of course a stack of vouchers for all-you-can-stand angry handjobs redeemable at any time.
It's even funnier because in light of going on tour next year I *almost* bit the bullet and bought the CV Bus case myself yesterday. Very glad I got cold feet hahah

Also, I love Meris Polymoon and Mercury 7 with guitar and modular. I had no interest in the Ottobit at all from all the guitar videos i've seen but these 120 seconds of instagram clips going through eurorack sold me instantly and i have one on the way now. The Meris Trifecta with eurorack will be glorious.

I finally gave up on Ears, I just never patched it up. Only once in a while as an afterthought. Traded Ears and some buckeroos for an Ultrafold. This one has been on my list for a long time but always got passed over when I had the money.

Yeah, I was really excited to have an RML GPI, but I find that I just don't use it that much. Setting up into external stuff just seems to be too much of a hassle. Or maybe it's an outta sight outta mind thing where I just try to contain myself to the synth.
Anywho, I've said it before... Ultra fold is great!

i still dig the ALM pedal interface, but yeah. i way prefer in system things.
and i tried a bunch, Ears was just super uninteresting to me.
lol. which. doesn't necessarily mean ANYthing. i probably just didna get it.

i should get the Varigate 4+ and Manis in Friday. woooooot.

Just checked and got mine too, yes! Which means it'll probably get here Saturday and it's shipping to my work so probably won't get it until the Tuesday after Xmas now though.

Thinking about ways to get more space in my rack has me thinking about losing the Metropolis for something small like a Varigate 4+ or a Pittsburgh Micro Sequence. Both pretty new. Would love to hear from some folks once they've been out a bit longer.
