That's cool that your boss is cool. It makes work so much easier. My boss...it could go either way with her. Most probably south, though. Our 2IC is lesbian though and she'd probably piss herself laughing at it.

And goddamn that guitar is just pure sex. I have never seen that colour (not hard though, we generally get the most vanilla of flavours in music stores down here). Every time it pops up it blows my visual cortex. It should be on every page.

Just huge sounding, tons of gain on tap with more bass than I'd ever need.

Yeah the amount of sub bass frequencies is comical. I don't think I've ever turned the bass down on any of my amps before unless it was a Fender and was farting out.

Totally worth it. Every bit of damage adds up over time and playing music for 20 years of your life is below average if anything.

I've been watching lots of those rig reviews lately on YouTube and it's crazy how all of the older guys have the treble and presence controls on their amps cranked.

My other question got passed over because of how fast this thread moves. Thinking of getting an old Space Echo and putting it through my OR120's parallel loop and I was wondering if this is going to work at 100% wet without doing that weird out of phase volume drop crap?

umm idk. I think the Space Echo wouldnt be bad for a Orange/Matamp loop since i believe it can handle the kind of input signals that the loop sends out.

Well maybe I'll try to find a local one and try it with my head and see what happens. I still want to purchase that phaser and a looper before anymore spacious delays/verbs.

the loop itself was designed for standalone tube verb units and hence why it does not really work with much other effects

That's why I assumed that the space echo would work since it's practically a standalone verb/delay unit that has adjustable level. If I recall correctly these loops were originally created for a orange verb unit that never got off the ground or were made in a very small batch.

so the history is kind of like this. Matamp did it first, and they did have a bunch of Matamp verbs that went into the loop. When Orange was having Matamp design their amps (OrMat era) they continued using the loop like that and had OrMat verbs. When Orange broke from Matamp they continued to use the loop in there amp as well. So its more like they just continued what was already being done.

I was in a band where the singer sang through a space echo and it had multiple different inputs on the front with levels as well as a three way level switch on the front next to one of the plugs. There are enough options that there must be some setting that works. Maybe?

there are a lot great looking guitars in the world, but a nice Custom LP just has it all i think...personally if i had the money, i would get a vintage Silverburst Custom LP.
