Your (my new!) tone machine destrooooooooys!!!! And that's just through a yba1a and a single 12". I will go deaf when I send it through all my 15's.
The si/ge option is awesome. They both sound great. The silicon alone is super brutal. The germanium makes the fm2 you made me sound even crazier when stacked. Super pumped! Thanks !

Awesome, my friend! Please report more. Especially how you like the octave on bass!terminator wrote:Your (my new!) tone machine destrooooooooys!!!! And that's just through a yba1a and a single 12". I will go deaf when I send it through all my 15's.

Re: Custom Shit
Elevenstring's FTM rehouse. He's got a tight board and I had circuit board bolts coming out of the sides. Also had to give more space between jacks. Looks better than the original one so I'm glad we decided to do it...

Jean and his 125Bs
I think you have scaled your aesthetic really nicely - it doesn't have quite the same visceral impact of your big box stuff but looks equally as good. Nice!

That is a good name for a band. It will consist of 125 bassists each playing a 1 string bass.goroth wrote:Jean and his 125Bs![]()
Pedals by LaoWiz. Top mounted jacks, of course.

The regular fuzz is outstanding. The silicon is as loud as any others I have and the tone is as rich as any vintage crazies I've kept. This sound alone makes the pedal totally worth its weight in gold.LaoWiz wrote: Awesome, my friend! Please report more. Especially how you like the octave on bass!
On my smaller amps, the octave up loses some low end but has a crazy top that's great for harsh noise, which I make often. With my big amps, the octave up produces a deep fundamental that could be boosted to really create a super thick, evil sound.
On certain settings, the ftm can stack with the fm2 and make some truly insane shit happen. But when dimed, neither one can handle the intensity of the other's output. I think it has something to do with buffers and impedance or whatnot. I know the fm2 likes to be first in line. The ftm seems to have a similar preference.
Overall, A+. I'm very happy.
Btw, elevenstring's rehouse looks sharp as hell.

Re: Custom Shit
Thanks a bunch! I used to hate small enclosures but thanks to Jean I'm into it now. More challenging for graphics and less knob choice but they are really cute. Since I make 99% of my stuff, it will be good to make smaller babies. So far my only pedals this size are a range master and a demo tape fuzz, which is my new fav.goroth wrote:Jean and his 125Bs

Man, I would love to hear you playing it through a massive rig. I'm so glad you are liking it. I don't have one of my own anymore, need to make another. I am proud you have those two beasts and make the kind of music you do as it's so punishing! It's a great circuit, sorta like a muff but maybe more cutting, nasty. I don't know....terminator wrote:The regular fuzz is outstanding. The silicon is as loud as any others I have and the tone is as rich as any vintage crazies I've kept.
