...if I remember correctly the founding fathers said somthing along the lines of we need no overruling government, just people who are smart enough to think for themselves and defend them self against corruption and any tyrannical state of oppression.

The unintended consequence of black desegregation was that all of the black-owned businesses had the resources to leave the "black neighborhoods" leaving those neighborhoods devoid of the economy necessary to empower a community.

That simply leaves a tiny bit less segregation with much more blight.
