I just played my friends 91 Les Paul standard (beautiful guitar) and now I want me some humbuckers for the Jazzy (in the neck, at least). Would a PAF Humbucker be what I'm looking for to cop that tone? I'm thinking yes, but want to double check because I know WRHBs are brighter.

What head will you be using and how much are you looking to spend? The standard, readily available, not terribly expensive answer is a Marshall 1960. You should be able to find one on Craigslist for $350-$450 depending on the condition.
