owned their Explorer a LONG time ago... change the pickups (maybe they're better now) and watch that hardware.. mine started to corrode pretty soon

Yes sir, the same. One of these:

I think they're the only semi-faithful non-reverse T-bird copies around. Greco made some nice T-bird copies, but they are getting pricey, and I don't think they ever made non-reverse ones. Beyond that, if you want a non-reverse T-bird, Gibson only made them for 4 years in the mid-60's. I plan on replacing the pickup with either a vintage-style Lollar with a chrome cover, or with a modern Gibson pickup I've got lying around. Been trying to get my hands on one for a while now, should be a fun project.

This would be my go to response as well.

And shit yea, been wanting a superfuzz awhile now but prices kicking in the hesitation since I've never tried one out. That ss/bs clone looks supreme. I want that.

Hit that Black Cat phantasmagorovich has in the B/S/T.

well, i lost the superfuzz, but fuck that. i ordered a nice clone with some lovely modern updates, for a comfortably lower sum.

when I get it I'll try to make a demo when I have time. Its from the North Effects guy I've talked about before, and it'd be really nice to know if his clones are really all that because cheap-as-dirt faithful clones for expensive ass pedals is always a good thing.

Out: Ampeg VT-22 head in custom headshell.

Sad day  , had this thing for eight years, but I am not playing in a band right now and need the money more than a loud as fuck head. At least it went to a friend and I know he won't unload it.

I feel you there. Major amp + guitar thinning gonna happen here too.

No gas these days... Tho I kinda want to ask LaoWiz about building a simple fuzz like a Supa Fuzz or Torn's Peaker + LM386 Ruby-style amp into one of those awesome enclosures he does.
