Easy way to tell. Pull the power out and see if they bypass. No lab needed. Now they could be true bypass with buffered inputs and output still. That you would have to investigate.

Technically it's smart to have at least one buffered pedal in your chain anyway to reduce noise. Or a buffer. Or an active instrument or fuck logic.

In other news, IC Water is finally out of stock on his site.

I assume no one has heard a word from him about shipping though? Might give it another month before I just do a paypal refund. I mean, I don't wanna be a dick, but I don't give people $350 loans over paypal to never hear from them again either.

Yaz, this process is familiar to me. It's happened far too often to me recently...not with, Seppuku, but I sympathize with your frustration.

i think i ordered mine on may 24th. its hardly been any time is my opinion, i've dealt with him directly before and it seems three or four months isn't out of the question. especially considering that he made note that he was moving and was going to be unavailable for a couple of months. i'm just going to wait till it arrives and not stress about it, i know he's going to deliver.....i also knew that it was going to take however long it takes to get here.

He has to see an email to see that someone bought a pedal from him. I don't see whats so god damn hard emailing them back saying "Shipped." at the very least.

We all knew what we were getting into. It's not like it's anything new. It sucks, but it is what it is.

You'll at least get a cool surprise once you've kinda forgot about it.

Not sure I'll ever forget about it though haha. That Digital Water money could get me a used Eau Claire Thunder and Team Awesome Fuzz which would cover me on dirt for life.

Pedals man. We all say that...it never happens, haha. Be neat to see what you come up with when you get it though. There is going to be a fun Seppuku rush on the board some day soon, I can sense it (not really, but hope might still exist in the world).
