when listening to the demos of the actual sounds coming out of the MD-500, RV-500 - it just reminds me of the what I used to hear on the VF-1, GT-5 etc. I spent so much time on those and it just sounds like a hi-fi version of that to me.
I'll stick to the Strymans.

I just sold my Space after generally not getting on with it very well for the year I had it. My conclusion was that between the Bitquest and RM, my reverb needs were covered, but the price on these is pretty reasonable and I'm tempted to try another big box.

I like the idea of the Strymons, for me though, they sounded kind of sterile. The best I had was the Big Sky by far. I didn't dig the Timeline that much or the Mobius. I'm not sure why. I like two algos from the Mobius and that's about it. LOL.
I'd definitely try them again. LOL. I'm just that kind of person. I've changed set ups drastically since I had those pedals, so who knows, maybe it was my bass or amp.
I still dig the Boss stuff though. I love the menu diving on there and the ability to make it as weird as desired. The assignable momentary switch is killer to me too. I don't do tap tempo that often with some pedals and being able to hold it down and do different stuff, is just amazing. I do need to get something that can save pre-sets easier though. I hate the two button scrolling.

$1.38 a day for a feeling of fleeting gratification.

For those of you who don't care about social media and often forget to check the builders' sub-forums (like me), here's your June update from Dwarfcraft.

I totally care about social media.

I just don't check it that often.

Yeah, but you're some kind of (a) warlock, (b) claymation alien, and/or (c) post-folk banjo accompaniment android. For 94% of the humans I've observed, there's no such thing as social media temperance---it's either abstinence or over-indulgence.

This feels like a quote worthy of making it into a signature.

These new Polivoks-inspired filters from Elta are lovely (coming soon to PCA?), but I don't understand why they don't embrace the stompbox format. As a desktop user, I don't mind a stomp switch at all. It seems like that would be better for most users than an on/off toggle.
