Ironically enough, I think Angel is a lab/shepherd mix as well, but shows more of the shepherd side (i.e., fluffier fur, slightly curved tail)
But generally looks alot like your friend there.

That would be Biscuit the Westy pup

That would be Biscuit the Westy pup headbutting Bella the mutt who is considerably larger and stronger and older and faster.
Together they make for lots of love and crazy stunts (Ever had a pup hide away under a table and chew a power cable till it got shocked?)

Awwwwwwww... yay for crazy pups!
Been a while since I posted mine: NUGGET!!!!! (pronounced with all caps & exclamation points, of course)

- Looking all majestic this summer... no, that's not my house, but I'd like to pretend that it is.

- Just a couple of days ago. And yes, that is my house. You can come over if you're willing to shovel snow.

Thanks! He's the supermodel of the family. We joke that he's more golden than retriever.
The funny thing? We got him from the pound for $35...

Stray dogs and mutts have the best characters and most of the time best looks around. Inbreeding has done a lot of breeds little good (not that I'm pro pedigree or anti pedigree or anything. As you can see I have both a proud pedigree dog and a proud mutt)
That's one of the miraculous things about pets though. You genuinely forget you ever paid money for them. At least I do.

It's true. Though the vet's pretty much sure that Nugget's a purebred... and he's got the inbred delicate sensibilities that go along with that! He doesn't quite eat gold-plated dog food, but close. Of course, that beats the alternative... lets just say that his digestive troubles were a bit extreme when we first got him. But it's all good now... and that fancy food is well worth the love we get back in return!

Glad to hear that!
Has anyone ever trained a dog to stomp pedals on/off?
