This is what I came here to say. It was this video of a modded one that got me all hot and bothered. I
think all he did was make the internal trim pots external.

DUDE! That is sick!

in some seriousness i really enjoy the flange from my PDS1700. It doesn't get as chorusy as i would like, but it gets super clangy with high headroom.
I miss mine. Gonna get another one at some point, the flanger can get super throaty.
They can be found for sub $100 on Reverb

PDS has a similar trim pot situation. I think it only has two though

The closest I've seen to what would be an ideal form of this for me is the Keeley Super Mod Workstation. A wide variety of modulation effects to stack into one another, but separate controls for each. I've never actually laid hands on one so I have no idea how well it works in practice. The impression that I've got from watching demos though is that I'm still probably better off with separate effects. I can't think of any manufacturers in the boutique realm who go this route even though there are quite a few fuzzes: Blackout Twosome, Black Arts Sarcophogus, Dwarfcraft Silver Rose, Earthquaker Hoof Reaper. I guess if Subdecay were to stuff a Quasar and a Starlight in the same box or something like that, it would rise above a certain price point where it wouldn't be worth it to put the product out there.
One thing that really gets under my skin are those pedals that have an SPDT switch to change from flanger to chorus, phaser to flange, etc. See the Digitech Nautila or Keeley BubbleTron. My favorite flanger setting wouldn't necessarily be the setting I'd want on phaser.

Is loud button out of business? The Web page links to music stores like a google search...

Their aesthetic pleases me.

I use my phase modulator as a nice gently woosh to make things pop out but also blend in a mix.
Flanger is for everything else. Resonant filter. BIG SWOOSH. Better sounding chorus. BIG FAST PULSE VIBRATIONS.

I’ve still never owned a phaser. What’s an affordable analog one with stage switches? Is the PH-2 good?
