In the last year I've met several people who were in her sphere, and it's been comforting and inspiring all the same to hear how people loved her the same way ILF always will.

If it feels like the world is either too big or too small sometimes, it's people like her & the energy they brought to into the world that made it seem just right for a little while.

Oof. I was just thinking of her yesterday because the criminal proceedings are still progressing for the owners of the space and the event organizers. Just so sad. All the families are trying to get a plea deal so they don’t have to go through the extended pain of a trial. Miss having PV around here and I’m sure there are many people that miss her even more.

It was a surreal day. I went out to my shed early that day and saw the news on facebook as I was having my morning cup of coffee. When I realized it was ghost ship, I freaked out and started texting people. The dudes I knew responded. Mostly dudes that were on vacation, were at shows elsewhere or visiting families.

A bunch of people we knew didnt make it. Including Feral Pines.

I cried a lot that day. I drank a lot that day too. Considering I was seriously about to move in, I feel like I cheated death. Sort of felt like im living on borrowed time since. Or like it wasnt my time. I dunno. Whenever I think about it I mostly feel numb. It'll probably come up in one of my panic attacks eventually.
