I'm sure it's going to come out eventually. Not like he's trying to make a clean start here.

I'm sure we should just keep hassling this dude for actually providing content and a good observation. That seems pretty fucking legit and not at all the benchmark of a bunch of knuckle-dragging Cro Magnons.
Yes but once again, what's the point here???
That the two pedals sound exactly the fucking same?

Did you not listen to the clips?

Have you eaten anything today or is this just the general talkbass grease trap thread and I misread the title?

So the point is to shit on boutique pedals on ILF. Got it.

I get they sound the same, but I tried one and it was great as were the folks at Mantic.

Out of curiosity, how many times did you move the knobs in those clips?

My point is, why did he sign up to ILF and all he's been doing is talking shit on boutique pedals??

Like I said in the other post, I set the pedals to get as close to exact as possible and then hit record. Did not move knobs once. Putting all the other bad blood from TB aside, could you tell which was which?

I'll defer to you guys on that-- I don't know this dude, I don't know his post history on TB, etc., but "this pedal and this other pedal sound very similar" is a common topic of discussion here. "How do I get this sound" "Sounds like an XYZYYX". This is just a variation on that.

Sorry, I'm afraid you've been too much of a giant cunt, repeatedly, for us to do that.

Look at his post history.

I like the entertainment just like anyone else, and I do appreciate the the comparison, but I question his reasoning.

All he did on TB was talk shit on people and pedals. I actually offered him constructive advice several times, but it's clear to me he has some kind of nonsense agenda that makes him seem like a dick.

If that's not the case, please, prove me wrong. Contribute to some other threads and be a real member here.

I mean Jwar if you want to talk about nonsense agendas we could always talk about how you feel about abortion. Or how I feel about guns. Or whatever.

But we don't bring it up at ever opportunity because it's not really relevant.

edit: this is soyboy dude?     10/10.

The same reason some ppl sign to praise boutique pedals?

I don't mind having someone, with real facts, putting all shit on perspective and being different than the typical "dood, get this new weird limited pedal, it sounds like cyberpunk tits and it will make you sound cool, like the rest of us".
But what do I know, I'm a "bad" person too heh

Is it legal to put the guts from a Vitriol inside a Metal Zone?
