I had no idea about any of this, just that anytime JHS came up on here it was never in a positive way. And I totally thought y'all were talking about international house of pancakes haha Waffle House is superior but I need to drive down to MD to eat there so I settle for IHOP

Oh and I never planned on buying a JHS pedal anyway but now I definitely won't be. Too many good builders to even waste time debating supporting them.

I will straight up without provocation drive an hour and fourty five minutes to get Waffle House at any time of day, night, weather.

I've done it. I just lack a car so it's not easy. I still manage to get to Waffle House way more than IHOP thankfully

At least their rehousing jobs don't have a gay agenda?

Also am I the only one who thinks they need better PR? The last thing you wanna do when trying to bury something is point your finger at it with your own website :poke:

Over the weekend I mentioned the IHOP thing to Ryan Adams on Twitter via The Cherry Wave Twitter after he had a pop at homophobes. He blocked us. Minutes later JHS messaged us to say it was lies and that he would answer anything. I asked if he did or has ever financially contributed to IHOP. He didn't answer, but instead threatened libel and told us he'd be releasing a statement at the start of the week. Hence this statement.

NSFW: show
FYI, this isn't a big criticism of marketing people (that aren't engineers/pedal nerds) that are in the pedal game, D.o.S. :poke:
So, he's actually not that different from Josh Scott except he had someone design a circuit for him long before JHS was in the game. :idk:
That's a bit of a simplification.

Please, don't compare Finnegan to Josh Scott.

lol damn, these people are awfully touchy for folks who supposedly have not done anything wrong/unjust
I'm surprised that Ryan Adams blocked you for mentioning a serious point of critique regarding a company he works with's efforts against a cause he apparently supports. That's shooting the messenger if I've ever heard it.

I've thought more about this subject, and if JHS really wants to make people know they support human rights, wouldn't a donation to the ACLU or an org that actively fights for LGBT rights in the company's name speak a little louder than a blog full of language that's questionable at best, and more realistically untrue?

I've never heard of IHOPKC before, so I did some poking around online. I'd feel pretty uncomfortable if I was there in person.

Wasn't Jwar gonna find out whether JHS is actually as close to IHOPKC as people claim?
Whatever happened with that?
