I think either brackets or three polls per size category is fine. Anything more complicated is just too dang much work.
That being said, I get like 2 votes every year so I'm not majorly invested in this. I figure you have to take it very serious as you set up your dopest boards and simultaneously not serious at all as the votes and banter happen.

Is there a way to set it up where only participants can vote in a weighted poll (1st, 2nd, 3rd), but not vote for themselves?
1st pick gets 9 points, 2nd gets 5 points, 3rd gets 1 point etc; in each diff size board category.
If 40 people participate and send 40 (verified) emails with 3 votes per category, first identifying which board is their own, then the data can be entered into an excel or similar spreadsheet for proper tally with paper trail, relatively easily I would think. Which boards get how many 1st, 2nd, 3rd place votes and the final value from under 10 min of data entry. Designing the spreadsheet would require more effort and I suspect some of ya are handy with those things ...or maybe strawpoll.me or equivalent allows for that

Think about it. Life makes more sense on ILF and BILF is no exception. An oscillating fuzz is out of order and disrupts sensibility in your world, but here it can wreck in harmony and still be unruly on spreadsheets. Also getting your shine took is no big deal when you're a glutton for punishment, doing what you do for a living
