yeah megalith is part of my "been looking at forever" list, alongside a supercollider and the iron pig.

The rest of mountainking looks great as well, but i can't make out where to start otherwise.

decomposer and that synth thing looked cool, but i don't know if they'd be regulars on the pedalboard. don't want to buy stuff anymore that i MIGHT use.


And i'm not like some of you peeps able to flip 100+ pedals a year.

That's about where I'm at.

Well, the list ends up much more impressive than I thought (and than other years). I blame all of you, obviously. You're a bad influence.

Note that I bought most of the pedals used and for quite cheap (lots of good deals to be had locally especially on older pedals). The only pedals that cost more than $100 were the SS/BS ones I think, and most were definitely less than that. Also, selling/trading cheap pedals is usually not an option for me because of international shipping cost.

As for the modular, it took me more than 3 years to get to a 7U case and it's not even full. I'm doing much better at controlling my purchases than most people I know . I sold some synth stuff too, which financed some of these.

Fender Blues Deville Reissue. Kinda sorta belongs to my other guitar player, I'm going back to my DSL100 though.

Worst would probably be the Space? It's an awesome pedal but it's just too overwhelming. My whole pedalboard philosophy changed because of it though. For a while I had the Space, TL and PitchFactor combo. The idea was that any sound I needed could be achieved through those three. It was just too much to wrangle in live. Without midi control it was just too crazy of a rig. Now my plan is to fill those voids with awesome single pedals (still have the PitchFactor) and build up a small collection - only cool shit, no TC Electronic or whatever other vanilla company - and swap stuff out depending on the mood or project. Pedal count is still limited by my board size and power supply limitations, and that's fine by me.
