Ayyyyy I'll do this when I get an interface. I play guitar and can do some vocals. I'm more confident with my aggressive vocals than I am with chill stuff unless the chill vocals are run through some effects to mask my tone deafness.

Key and bpm as the name of a track is hecka helpful.

My notation is normally combination actual terms and descriptive words, like verse intro doodly riff, or spaced out ringers to end the second verse.

i have a couple of riffs i'd like to get recorded and posted up. gotta get the power cable for my pedalboard back to my space as it's not at the house.
i plan on leaving a little text edit note with it so people can see notes/bpm/etc.

There's also a tag section and comments section on each file you can add stuff to. Just click the file and it's on the right hand section. We can start putting bpm and key in the tags.

I added a samples folder and threw up the raw recording of a wurlitzer I had handy for a little bit. It's not cut up but it has every note at a few different velocities, sustained and staccato. Straight wurlitzer into a radial j48 DI, into a millenia preamp. No eq or compression.

Also is anyone having trouble with logging in? Jwar gets an error I can't reproduce.

It's working now...I'm not sure what happened.

On the lyrics, for me, I'd rather write them when I hear music. It makes more sense to me and will inspire a flow. Although I can do both.

I'll check out what's been uploaded so far. I don't have my stuff set up yet, but will very soon!

I will check stuff out and maybe record/upload some of my own tomorrow! I have a couple of riffs and bits I can't fit anywhere else so maybe this is a good way to get input and have someone else do something cool with them

Got my Focus Rite today, very VERY simple to use with a Mac. Uploaded some samples for testing really, seems to be all good.
