Can't speak to the rest of their discography (yet) but this record has to be the best, most refreshing piece of music I've heard this year. As I continue to listen more and more I'm drawn further in as well.
You can't really tell what's a sample and what's deliberately performed and layered in for the track itself, and that's a beautiful thing to me. Lots of Eastern sounds firmly re-contextualized into western music. It's familiar and easy to enjoy, but not shallow either.
Thanks for sharing this, only a few tracks in so far and it's super interesting. Can't imagine the undertaking to mashup some of these scales. :love:

I'm on it, been trying to make an album in this style for almost a year now. Shit is hard as balls to get to a level that I'm satisfied with. Have made a ton of music though. :)*
