throwing in with most of the comments here, but echo dream ii for a great dmm alternative (though it still has it's own definite character), kompakt kassette for hallucinogenic daydreams.

Multiplex for sure. I want to try an echo degrader.

I've been using the Dwarfcraft Minivan a lot recently.

Multiplex is a great choice. Miss mine sometimes. The Small Echo Array is PT2399, too, I believe and that's a bitchin' pedal.

oh have you
no but guys seriously... Older Wampler Faux Tape and EQD Disaster Transport are AMAZING. Check out these two tracks, that's basically a bunch of thse layered.
I recorded this YEARS ago, but I remember clearly doing about four tracks for different guitar layers, two centered with both stacked and then each panned left or right for extra space...

this is similar, but less stacked delays I think...
http://apisanteportas.bandcamp.com/trac ... ds-anymore
granted I have owned an old 1979 DMM since and it's much more magical, but it is a bit... inconvenient for reasons such as reliability and stuff.

What's the difference between the old wampler faux tape and the newer tap tempo (other than tap)? The modulation section? I have the tap tempo. I bought it on a whim for a good deal. Not a fan of wampler pedals in general, but I like this one a lot.

mod section on the tap one has more control, which adds possibilities, but takes away the "Random" feature a bit... which i love
main beef is the slightly extended delay time and that it's really easy to get the PT2399 to "overload" and crackle and distort in an ugly way
the old one is more limited, but more natural and definitely less problematic

Yep, it does get a bit white noisy when you crank the delay time.

The overall cleanest, nicest 2399 delay I've tested is the Moby Dick by Hungry Robots. Totally blew my mind how nice the repeats sounded. Dude must have bought a buttload of chips and sorted them by headroom. I don't think you can get there with just filtering.
The Subdecay Echobox is fantastic and has very unique delay line filtering and tone shaping. Great modulation too.
But my general favorite is one I built for myself.

I still wish you'd do an official run of these...

Staying pedge until after ILFSS, but I would 100% be open to this then...

Madbean Cave Dweller, but it's more of a filtered repeat sort of sound, kind of emulating the BBD sound. Erm, the old version at least. Haven't tried the newer one.
