Agree with you on that...there were some ok ones, but yea...haha.
I'm honestly getting sick of all the damn d-beat bands. Like a few were cool, but disclose did it and (and obviously) discharge did it better...
I guess growing up in Bakersfield and dealing with all the transplant LA fucks gave me a chip on my shoulder...haha.

I've said it before but I'm a card carrying, fun hating, ebullition reading, pc 90s fruit and would way rather listen to the Campaign 'numb' 7" than some classic band of new york racists.

I cant deal with unscrupulous amounts of double kick d-beats and downtuned guitars, Cursed was pretty damn good but all the rehash UK82 bands and Cursed clones are getting so bad.

'HM2 Core' -----> \_/
Honestly my problem with hardcore post internet is so much of it is cosplay. 'We're going to sound (and dress) exactly like this one specific scene from january 82 to march 83, and that riff totally rages but doesn't fit so we can't put it in'. Not enough bands taking a risk in putting a new spin on something rather than sounding like a bunch of KBD outtakes.

Pretty much.
I'm trying to get something going that's at least a little different so I've been fucking with different tunings and trying to take influences from outside of the "hardcore world" but I can't fucking find anyone to play with that wouldn't rather recruit me into their band that's already doing something that's boring to me.

hell, if you were still in the OC, I would've been there...and at least given it a shot. I was always just playing hardcore...just did it different...because I can't copy anyone (not enough talent but I tried in my first band...haha, horrible failure). So I just did what I did
But yea, rehash sound alike bands (esp. the UK82) ones are not fun anymore (and barely were)...
classic, 1980s hardcore is the tops though...Some of the South American stuff is my favorite. Japanese hardcore is amazing too.
I was going to post that verbal abuse, Blackened Soul.
Still love all this stuff even if it is called "classics".
Thanks to whoever is up there that no one has posted Vice Squad.

Yup, but a classic was somewhat unknown lol.
Yeah I definitely would have hit you up to jam back in OC/LA. I even had a spot, which I don't anymore.
