I got to see the dead in 93 at soldier field in Chicago when I was 16. A guy my dad worked with, Schumi, used to arrange things for the guys at work. it was a pretty wild experience seeing the parking lot. I started working at that shop when I was 19 and wound up in a two-piece jam band with Schumi. We called ourselves The Golden Moose and we were a HEAVY jam band for the most part. it would drive me nuts hanging out with Schumi in the summer time because old boy would never wear shoes and he had some nasty ass hippy feet but he was one hell of a drummer.

the music doesn't bother me at all but I often shower twice a day so...

I'll concede to this.. to me "triply" music should fuck with you with out the drugs… but it's a big world.. some of us like throbbing gristle while others like Dave Mathews

So many many hot and gullible women! Such good drugs. You'd get to play at an reasonable hour. The amps wouldn't hurt your ears. It seems almost worth playing the worst music in the world.

I think the people that like mellow music because they can not cope with the "bad vibes" deep within their doped up souls won in the violence angle vs people that practice releasing anger in a healthy blast of loudness and bouncing around… but I could be wrong...

I don't want to do arpeggios or sing silly lyrics about cheeseburgers or stoplights, but I could really get into aspects of it..then again, what is the cut off? Built To Spill? Sea And Cake? Pink Mountains? Black Angels? Godspeed? Mogwai? Pelican? Pink Floyd? All great bands go in for long exploratory work. Or are we talking Phish and the Dead and the novelty-esque acts that followed them?
