also, why is it more endearing and Make Her A Sympathetic Figure when someone calls their birthing human Mum isntead of Mom?

Watched the first episode and cannot tell if I like it or hate it. The whole time I was thinking "why! Why a pig???". I mean, the hilarity factor I get but the dude killed himself after. So I was confused...He made sweet love to that piggy though. It took so long I think because it was soooooo good. LOL!

SPOILER : show
The whole situation was supposed to be a massive social satire from the perspective of the kidnapper.
He was expecting the media outlets to broadcast that the princess was released 30 minutes before the pig fucking and thus shame the entire country for being so absolutely disgusting and horrible since they all went inside to watch a dude fuck a pig.
Also, I think the reason why a pig was specifically chosen was:
A) Because of how similar to humans pigs are and,
B) Because many cultures consider pigs unclean and that just adds to how disgusting the whole situation is.

The roach episode was a real slow grower for me, I wasn't really sure where it was going at all for the first 20 minutes/half an hour and started to wonder if it was just a fairly straight-up sci-fi thing. Was really pleasantly surprised to find out it was just another horrendously believable episode that is too close to the cusp of reality for comfort.

yeah. there's a lot of episoses where i can see where they're going pretry early on (i have read wayyyyyy too muxh scifi), but even when it's not a huge surprise, they tell it really well.

lol. and my Netflix crapped out after i started the one after Roaches. had to switch over to HBO Go and start the remake of Poltergeist.

because YES CHEESE.

...... i never really liked Samuel Rockwell until Moon and Seven Psychopaths.

but DIG him now.

Just finished this one.
I knew where it was going the instant they showed the "roaches" with the laser.
