Almost stopped in there like a month ago. Weird. Will swing in next time I'm 'round that way.
:thumb: They make better NY pizza than actual NY pizza.
And they've got some mean knots.

Where I moved from, there was a pizza place that went out of business. Before they did it was 2 slices a bradstick and a soda for $4.50

That was my life.

No wonder they went out of business.

:idk: You get enough people to order that deal and you'll be doing OK. Dough is pretty cheap.

Yeah Dough is not bad, but you gotta deal in volume.

I haven't made a dough in a while, may be time to try it.

When I first stopped working at the restaurant I had a heck of a time converting down from a 50 pound bag of flour, but now it makes sense.

they actually went out of business because the store owner got put in witness protection and the guy that tried to run the store couldn't do math.

It is not very talked about but some stuff went down, some of his employees were dealing one was a heavy user, stole money from the store. Owner asks about it, the user didn't come to work for a few days. Found in the next State holding up a gas station. Dealer gets fired. Dealer slashes tires, breaks windows (or has buddies do it). Things escalate and get unclear from there.

Maybe dude got abducted by aliens. Was good pizza and a great deal, though. ALways nice to me.

i feel like 5-6 bux for a plain slice deal is pretty common around here, and thats what i go for. i tend to stay away from those fancier pizza spots

and not to derail, buuuut i'm a firm believer that if you're not eating pizza in the northeast your standards for 'good pizza' are pretty skewed :snax:

Pizza place at the local mall sells 2 slices for 5 bucks ($2.50 for just the one slice I bought). $1.35 for the coke.

But there's a pizza place where I go to school where you can get one large cheese pizza for $5. Granted, it's your standard mediocre college pizza, but you can't beat that price when you have some gnarly munchies.

But honestly, as a student, cheaper pizza definitely tastes better

Not by the slice (and even if it were, it'd be more than $5 for two and a drank):
