I've always been way too much of a glasses wearing weiner for battlejackets. But I remember seeing some fake crust pants for like $400 in the window of david jones a few years ago and nearly dying of laughter.

Real talk the only thing that actually bothers me about doom being trendy is being hassled to play shows now with a bunch of terrible new bands (as opposed to the good new ones of which there are many) that think they're going to be the next high on fire/electric wizard, and having to deal with all their self entitled bullshit. No you can't play for 50 minutes. No you can't borrow my amp because your piece of shit reissue orange isn't 'loud enough' and you need my (barely working) sunn to be 'really doom'. No I won't draw you a shirt design for free 'for the exposure'.

I've been out of bands and playing live for a while now, so it's depressing to see that little has changed in regards to parasitic wankers populating that end of the stick.

I've been trying to find a doom band to play bass or guitar in on Clist here but everyone's band kinda sucks. Also thought about contacting a black metal band since they tour and all but they take their metal way too seriously. They are really serious about being so KVLT
