I'm an office manager/research analyst/business development team member/coffee bitch/event planner for a small federal consulting company. It's a lot of hours, not a ton of pay, but overall not terrible.

I work as an undergraduate research assistant in a Chemistry lab at my university.
It's really rad and I love it.
I basically would like doing something similar to this for the rest of my life.

I'm an engineer (the sits-in-an-office kind). Only started work about 6 months ago, I'm generally pretty satisfied with my job, I love design and figuring stuff out.

Hey another mental health person! Where are you located? Is the entire mental health system in the shitter there like it is in NC?

I'm a therapist. Worked in a community agency for several years, but the company was small and unstable. Now I work as a therapist in the school system here, which is all kinds of rad.

Hey buddy. I'm in Canada so it's most likely quite different than in the US. It is what it is. I've learned you can be all pissed at the system or roll with it and do what you can. Our clinic is pretty cool. My CCR cover band played the client Xmas party and I dressed up like Santa. You can't do that in most agencies......

titularly i'm a copywriter for a major electronics retailer which does most of their business over the internet. I wind up doing a fair bit of what i think of as web site maintenance, and may soon be doing production work for a series of print documents, which would make me happy since i spent twenty years in print production before the job classification basically disappeared.

It's a non profit organization with two parts- the relief side, that gives aid when people need it, and then the blood collection side, which I work on.
