No joke you say this is going to be cheaper than buying actual alcohol and honestly you'll end up spending more money for an inferior product that's more likely to get you sick than drunk. I kinda hope you do and come back here saying after you waited for 2 weeks you drank it and spent the night throwing up and shitting yourself and then had to go to the hospital for dehydration. Then you get to sell your gear to pay for the medical bills.

You can actually make half-decent wine with just juice and yeast.

I've been brewing beer for a long time, and I've occasionally made fruit wines just for kicks or to use up leftover ingredients. I made this reDONKulous hard cider last year. A gallon of apple juice, a pound of dark muscovado sugar, and yeast. Granted, I used a very clean beer yeast, but it will still ferment fully with baker's yeast from the grocery store. Shit was like 8% ABV and very tasty.

There's nothing about homebrew that can hurt you. The old wives' tales about blindness, etc, are from during prohibition when people were using lead-containing vessels to brew and distill liquor. If you brew in glass or plastic, there's no chance of lead poisoning. ;)

The blindness/death is because the moonshine guys ended up making methanol instead of ethanol.

But if you have health insurance, drink some methanol and get yourself to a hospital. They basically treat you with an IV of hard liquor.

True story. Most opium on the market is have made with incense. Seriously. Fucking son of a bitch lying a ass drug dealers.

Just smoke crack dude. I mean, that's the cheapest shit out there right? Might as well if you're willing to drink prison hooch. I believe prisoners drink that because they don't have options. You do.

Or you could just...I don't know, not drink as much? Sounds logical to me.

This thread is fucking weird.
