Nashville. It doesn't suck here. It gets hot & humid in the summer but not terrible most of the time. East Nashville is pretty affordable and very cool. Music scene is a whole lot of country but there's a growing rock/metal/punk scene and SO MANY venues. The city is growing so fast and there's tons of construction going on.

Just moved into a really nice 4 bedroom house that has 2 full bathrooms, 2 car garage, deck party backyard with hot tub, awesome neighborhood + neighbors, basement, super cool musician roommates and the whole place is just $995 + utilities.

CINCINNATI!!!
i dont know if i want you piquing my interest in Ohio....
its been suggested to me by some friends, as theres a gazillion jobs in my field popping up there, paying stupid good money (welding), but to me it just seems lame there. :idk:
but...i could sell my house, and use the equity to pay for 50% of a house there.
im doing research....

I know! I was surprised! Taylor Swift lives down the street from me.

No, I have not egged her house yet.

(I guess that country music was implied. Implied... or implode?)

Man this winter makes me want to move the fuck out of Texas haha. I'm sure this summer will be equally terrible.
Eventually I want to move somewhere with mountains where it's never shitty outside. Denton is pretty cool, I grew up here so I wouldn't know any different though. Rent is pretty affordable, and there's some great bands around here and great bands come here. However it's hot as fuck in the summer and cold as shit in the winter. Feels like spring and fall hardly last a month here :( There's also some cowboy shit in Texas but whatever. no mountains and lots of boring shit but DFW is a pretty decent spot I guess.

Central coast, California. It's boring most of the time, but you're close enough to LA and SF and I heard that bands play in those towns every so often.

Also, the gay bars are mostly full of straight chicks, if my straight friends trying to drag me to them are anything to go by.

So, you know. If you need to pick up chicks. Gay bar.

My friend took her husband to Tribe once and he left to go to the bathroom and half a dozen men came up and said "so, who's your friend?" And she had to explain "See, ring."

Man, I dunno why, but I like when it's shitty outside with some regularity.
Bad weather makes me feel less guilty for being inside.
And I think it looks nicer.

yeah I mean I wouldn't be complaining if it was even 50/50 here, but I feel like it's bad weather 70% of the time of the year

I mean, yeah it's been below freezing every single fucking morning for like, two months.
But it's only terrible when it's windy.
And I enjoyed the snow (slush) yesterday, it was cool.

It's not like, comfortable weather. But it's not terrible either.
I can dig it.

yeah I mean it's not so bad, I've just had to spend a lot of time outside from school and work. I'm just bitter and being more harsh because of that haha. I'm also the kind of person who loves hanging outside and walking around going camping etc and I don't get my fix here.
