The ditch is the part of your arm opposite of your elbow. Being fucked by a shit ton of bees is a good description. I also found that the healing process in the ditch kinda sucks, too. Need to get a touch up in that area. Not looking forward to it.

All this talk of tattoos is making me wanna get another one really soon. Might suck it up and go for the chest. Thinking an old school scuba diver riding an angler fish rodeo style would be a pretty cool thing to do haha

I don't have my back done yet, but I have a huge rib piece that covers my whole left side, and there's a big chunk of it that wraps around onto my kidney. The Kidney area SUCKS. The ditch is easy compared. The shin/ankle areas suck a whole lot, and to be honest, I thought the chest (especially the sternum )was worse than the ribs. The ribs are more....uncomfortable than flat out painful, because you can feel your diaphragm vibrating. Strangely, the worst part about the stomach is the fact that you basically have to flex the entire time it's getting drilled. I also have the tops of my shoulders done, and that was more uncomfortable than painful just because the guy had to press my head and neck to the side the whole time and the machine was buzzing in my ear all loud.

I'm getting down to the sucky areas now that my arms only have small free areas. Gotta do the right ribcage, my back, and most of my legs. I keep toying with the idea of getting one of my palms done (though I hear that really sucks) and seeing if I can sneak it by at work. I hear that they used to have a dude with the word "vegan" across his throat, so.....

the ones i mentioned as being on my calves both wrap clear around my legs. i didn't think shins were too bad. also the one on my right shoulder goes up the side of my neck. that was the nastiest healing spot for me thus far. but it was done by the guy who was the weakest of my inkers.

Shins aren't that bad. The back of my leg, the lower half of the calf. And ankle stuff, YE-OUCH.. Wrist wasn't bad, and collarbones ain't too bad.

The top of the calf right near the back of the knee was the most unpleasant of my few.

I don't have any ink but I used to live with a tattoo artist and he said the 2 most painful spots are the ribcage and between the bicep and tricep on the inner arm.
